January 13, 2008 * 1st Lesson

Step 1: Wrap your hands.
The elderly woman to my right is half way done with her 2nd hand. I’m already dreading the lesson.

Yeah, yeah I get the placebo effect. But I tell ya, for a minute or two, I felt warrior-like.

    I am pleased to see that the JCC incorporates Jewish instruction in religious ritual before each boxing lesson.

    Does putting on the Tefillin under your gloves give you a sense that God is empowering and protecting you? I imagine it would.
